Frequently asked questions

Which PDF/A level is used?

PDF/A-2b by default, which most archives and courts accept. You can switch to 1b or 3b in the step's settings.

Can I archive each file separately instead of merging?

Yes. Remove the Merge step and every file comes out as its own PDF/A.

Do I need an account?

Yes, because PDF/A conversion runs on our server. A free account includes 25 conversions a day.
